Holiday Party

We had the boat Holiday party last night, and it was alot of fun! I got to wear my new dress from Express, and although slightly overdressed, it was fun to wear. I have to say-this year's party was much better than last year's party. This is probably due to actually KNOWING more people on the boat. Last year, I knew noone, and I felt a little out of place.

We also won a fantastic prize of a gift certificate to Margaritaville (at the Mohegan Sun). Drew and I will have to plan a night out before he leaves, but this should be be to hard!

This morning, we are off to the dog park. The dog needs to release some energy, hopefully it will not be too crowded!

Holiday Musical Buzz

I love the buzz of the holidays. I think it bothers the husband that I pull my Christmas music out half way through November, and anxiously await until after Thanksgiving so I can start listening to it. He is such a great guy, and occasionally lets me listen to the holiday XM channel when we are in his car. I am amused this year, with some of the CD's that are available. One is an Elvis CD with duets with Reba McIntire, Carrie Underwood, and a host of other women who have not been around long enough to sing with the King. Is this a creative way to sell new music or somewhat morbid idea? The jury is still out for this one!
