Holiday Craft Fairs

I love visiting holiday craft fairs! Today I went to one in Hartford with one of the other San Juan Ladies. We found some wonderful treasures, and I have found some wonderful gifts for various occasions. When it comes to gifts, I love to find unique items that cannot be found in big box stores. (I hope my recipients feel the same. ) Regardless of weather I am shopping with a specific purpose in mind, its always fun to go and see the unique items that crafters and foodies can come up with.

Wheel thrown pottery is one of my favorite items. I always love the different types of pottery, and am almost always too week to keep from purchasing something. The good thing is, that pottery is usually only found at the big expo-center-esque type fairs.

Out to Sea Wallhanging

This adorable wallhanging was a gift from Willow, and Willow's creative MIL. Though I don't have much "sub" stuff around the house, I loved it, and am excited to hang it up. I just need to find some great photos to go in the openings!

Epiphany

This beautiful quilt was made by Karla, and given to me as a gift two years ago. Unknowingly, I selected this same fantastic print for my blog. I knew I loved it, and I knew I had seen it before, but I am so oblivious, because it has been sitting on my couch the whole time.

Surprise Gifts

I found this lovely surprise at my door yesterday. It is from my secret buddy. There is nothing better than these types of surprises to brighten my day. So far my secret pal has surprised me with Dominos Cheesy bread (yes the delivery man showed at my door with cheesy bread), ice cream accessories, treats for Mack, cookies for me, and more.

To whoever you are...thank you! You brighten my day and make the hardest moments easier to bear!
