To Tattoo or to not Tattoo.....is not a question I lose any sleep over.....

Tonight was an exciting outing to the tattoo parlor. It was very nice establishment, populated by two very amusing artists. Some of my more decorated friends were wanting additional decoration, and I decided to tag along for the fun.

Aside from my ear piercings (two in each ear) I have not permanently altered my body. I don't have anything against it, but I cannot think of anything that I want to keep around for the the next 80 years. I am also slightly afraid of what would happen to a tattoo if my body weight changes in either direction. You certainly don't want Nemo turning into Shamu with the help of dunkin donuts. Since babies will be in my future (and my belly) at some point it would be best to save the decoration until I know that my size is completely within my control.

The husband has mentioned getting a tattoo at some point, but I like his muscles too much in their current state and would be very depressed if he altered them. I have told him, that I have to look at it, and would prefer if he did not.

Mack-Noodle's Swim Call

Today was trip #2 out to Meriden, CT for water treadmill time. Yes, I love my dog. He is my baby. He is the reason why I have not taken in boarders. I was never a dog person. I had cats growing up, and honestly, I never imagined having a dog, but the husband had that smile on his face and asked if we could go look. I cannot resist the smile. I cannot say "no" to it. I am in deep trouble if ever a child should arrive and have that same smile.
This is what the treadmill looks like. The dog wasn't "feeling it" today. He walked just fine last week, and he didn't have anyone in the tank with him to "encourage him." But he kept trying to turn around today. He is getting a good workout, and we really need to build up the muscle in the leg, so he can start to have some normal function with it. Its is very funny to watch him walk in that tank. It is very sad though at the rehab place. There are so many dogs there with rather serious disabilities. It breaks my heart to see them. After the treadmill, he took a shower, and got a blow dry.
I am certain that he prefers the hairdryer at home to the drying system they have at Top Dog. Its like a reverse central vac, and it seems pretty powerful. He was anxious to get out of that office today. I am wondering if I am going to get him willingly in there next week.
Tonight was a bunco night. It was absolutely fantastic, and I have been looking forward to it for many days. I won most buncos and most snake eyes. Means I have a little bit of mad money for the week.

Wednesday Date Night at Margarita's

Well this date was actually for Conner (age 4) and Kate (age 3). Amanda, Kristen, Ben, Jake, Tess and I were there to supervise. It was fun. Margarita's is always a great outing. I personally enjoy the Russelrita. It is like a Smoothie with extra "smooth." I enjoy our Wednesday evening dinners out and dinners in. It really helps to make the week go by a little easier.

Dinner was followed up at Kristen's house with Season 1 of Sex and the City. We watched the first couple episodes a few nights ago, and are going to watch the rest of season 1 tonight. We plan to go through the whole series in the next couple months, and then have a finale SatC movie night.

I personally think that the Carrie and Mr. Big romance should go down in history as one of the best romances. It was real. It had problems just like real people do. And, oh boy, did it have passion! Have a cosmo, and raise your glass to wonderful romances.
