MBS Tote

So this is my first attempt at a tote. I used the pattern from Moda Bake Shop. The original purpose for this tote was to use the jelly roll pieces from the Scruffily Quilt (which is stuffed inside the bag). I think it turned out rather well, and I still have more strips left. I do have a charm pack, so I may use the rest of the jelly roll scraps and the charms to make the coin quilt which is the project that MBS to use the scraps for the tote. If I do the scruffily quilt again, I think I will try it with a layer cake and two charm packs, as this would reduce alot of the leftover strips.

  1. well, I like it, and good idea to use scraps

  2. That is such a cute bag! I am sure you will get great use! I have been wanting to make that one myself.

  3. Beautiful! I love how this bag turned out...making a patchwork/quilted bag is definitely high up on my list of to-do's! Thanks so much for entering my handbag pattern giveaway! :-)
